Social media reacts to #HouseOfCode 2019
Students, Parents, and Members of Congress during the Congressional App Challenge Winners' Demo
On Thursday May 9, 2019, the U.S. House of Representatives hosted the 2019 #HouseOfCode celebration for the 2018 Congressional App Challenge winners. Over 230 students attended a Welcome Session with Keynotes at the Capitol Visitor Center Auditorium, connected with tech organizations at the Sponsor and Partner Expo, and demonstrated their apps to more than 100 Members of Congress.
As the exciting events at #HouseOfCode were happening, social media was right there keeping up! Everyone from our Sponsors and Partners, to Members of Congress were posting about what a success #HouseOfCode was. Here are a few tweets from the busy day.
