Wyoming hosts inaugural Congressional App Challenge
Congresswoman Liz Cheney is hosting a Congressional App Challenge for the first time this year! Middle and high school students are encouraged to register online, learn to code, create an app, and submit it to Congresswoman Cheney’s app challenge.
Students may register as teams (of up to four) or as individuals. Apps can be submitted in any language (such as Python, Java, Javascript, C++,“block code”, etc.) using any platform (PC, web, tablet, robot, raspberry Pi, mobile, etc.)
In the first 3 years of the Congressional App Challenge, the program has yielded 605 App Challenges across 42 states. Over 2,400 apps have been created by nearly 9,000 students, and participant demographics surpass all industry diversity metrics. This year, the CAC initiative aims to reach even more constituents. We would love to see the Cowboy state on the Congressional App Challenge map!
