Welcome back to the alumni-led Congressional App Challenge Debugged Podcast! If you’re new to Debugged, here’s a bit about the podcast.
Launched last year by the Congressional App Challenge Alumni Advisory Board, the Debugged Podcast connects the country’s youth with tech by *debugging* the intricate world of Computer Science. By highlighting trends, simplifying complex concepts, and speaking with high profile guests, Debugged allows its listeners to delve into tech in an analytical yet relatable way. Debugged is a unique podcast experience that seeks to redefine STEM education, highlight diverse voices, and further the narrative around a myriad of Computer Science topics. In this episode of the Debugged Podcast, Medha Gupta chats with Kamryn Cutler, computer science graduate of Howard University and participant in Hartman’s Leadership Development Program. Cutler certainly wears many hats in this program. She not only is an engineer in data analytics, but she also works as a consultant to communicate with businesses directly to help them understand these technological solutions. Cutler also shares her amazing journey from bringing all the knowledge she gained through the KPMG Cyber internship to her work at Hartman. On top of all of this, Cutler is a natural hair ambassador who encourages all people to embrace their natural hair, and she continues to inspire girls to fearlessly pursue careers in tech. Kamryn Cutler is a computer science graduate of Howard University and participates in Hartman’s Leadership Development Program. She has experience with programming, consulting and cybersecurity, and uses that knowledge to help build the Hartman team of IT and cyber leaders.Kamryn was first introduced to consulting through an internship with KPMG where she focused on cyber transformation. She also has experience developing mobile apps and managing technical projects and technology systems. As a programmer, she is most proficient in Python, but has programmed in SQL, HTML, CSS, Java, React, and C++. In her free time, Kamryn enjoys cooking and doing her hair. A natural hair ambassador, she styles her hair using sponsored products and posts reviews on social media.
