Meet our Spring 2024 Interns!
Meera Popli: Meera Popli is a senior at the University of Southern California studying Political Science and Business Law. Her emphasis is Human Rights and Law, a field she has been interested in for years. She is excited to apply to knowledge and experience she gains from her time as a Congressional Affairs Intern for the Congressional App Challenge to further her career after she graduates from USC. A lifelong advocate for voting rights, access to education, and human rights, she is excited to be in D.C for her final semester of college. In her free time, she is likely spending time outside. She spends much of her time doing yoga, going for walks and hikes, swinging in her hammock, and enjoying home cooked meals with friends.
Sherissa Wu: Sherissa Wu is a current sophomore at the University of Southern California pursuing a major in Political Science and a minor in Psychology and Law. At USC, she gives campus tours and works in the Undergraduate Admissions Office as a Student Ambassador. She is also an active member of USC’s competitive debate team and has traveled across the country to compete against other universities. Being born in Boston yet calling Shanghai home, residing in LA yet currently staying in DC, and frequenting Singapore to visit family working there, she loves to travel and to explore the local food scene wherever she goes. In her down time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, reading thrillers, and online shopping.
