Why the App Challenge? Hear Voices from Across the Nation
The 2021 Congressional App Challenge launched on Thursday, June 24th. To celebrate the start of this year’s competition, we reached out to friends in all 50 states to find out why they are excited for the launch.
The Congressional App Challenge is a congressional initiative that brings the creativity and ingenuity of America’s future STEM leaders directly to their representatives in Washington. Now that you’ve heard from some of our friends, be sure to sign up for the 2021 Congressional App Challenge! Students compete with others in their district, so every year hundreds of students from all skill levels are honored as winners nationwide. Winning teams are invited to the #HouseofCode in the U.S. Capitol Building, where their apps are put on display for one year. The deadline for students to submit their apps is November 1, 2021.
